Hello
I have a problem with a Peugeot Bipper 2016 Diesel 1.4 HDI.
The car doesn't start anymore. To start it, you have to remove the power supply from the BSI, leave it for 5 to 10 minutes for it to restart. I think we need to change the BSI but unfortunately it's not easy to find one where I am.
Does someone have an idea?
U1700 faults 87No communication with BSI ECU
P1351pre/post heating relay relay supplied and plugs never supplied
u0426 31 fault incorrect immobilizer code sent by engine ecu (intermittent)
u1118 (intermittent) com fault on the can - no com with bsi
The bsi number 01384173080
111R1-000674 delphi
Thank you in advance

hmm, first you need to check if immo is the problem or just comms with bsi.I would check if it gets into diagnostics when the car does not want to start,to see if it communicates.
Also when it does not want to start, bsi works for other functions?Like windows ,flash, alarm, horn, wipers, central locking etc
then via diagnostic data to see if ecu is ecu gets the ok to start car.
if not, please upload ecu numbers, you could do immo off to see if it starts ok,just to check
you may have seen these but ,here in the txt with a fast search i found two used bsi same numbers

In cars after 2005 make full scan, not only ECU and BSI.
PSA group comunication BSI - ABS - ECU. If You have problem with ABS ( after crash, water ) You have problem with immo.

Hi
Yes error in bsi abs ecu airbag
The car is starting fine since a few days now. But i think those faults will come back. The wiring looks in good condition. Voltage ok. Communication with bsi now possible when the car starts.
The problem started at random. No accident no flat battery

Water in car ?
Spring in ABS plug ?
Clear errors in all ecus.
When problems occur post all errors from all ecus.

Hi
No water no flooding no Aircon leaking either.
Hmmm i don't know about the spring in the abs haven't checked it. The Abs wasn't touched. These PSA cars has a few issues with wiring creating intermittent faults.
I will scan the car when it stops working again to see what comes up
Thanks
