Mercedes X253 mileage correction

I'm considering correcting the mileage of my Mercedes X253.
When looking at product introductions for tools that can make modifications via OBD, many of them only support up to the 2017 model year.
Does this mean that modifications via OBD are not possible for models with Mercedes me compatibility, or is there another reason?
I own a 2018 X253 model, and I'm wondering how the mileage can be changed.

It is possible but you’ll need to invest in proper tool and need filter too as the ezs is not possible to change data.
