thinks thats a 93c86 eeprom inside, although newest ive done is 2018

Yes possible.
You have to disassemble the lower small display.
Cutting hole is not possible because eeprom (93C76) is between two PCBs.

It is 93C76 inside. Please be very gentle when you cut to open,as you might cut the ribbon...
