TACHO AND NEC PROGRAMMER

HELLO ,

THE NEC PROGRAMMING DONGLE OF TACHO DOESN'T WORK?
I TRIED WITH THE DASHBOARD CLIO 2 SAGEM
WHEN I connect the NEC PROGRAMMING DONGLE TO TACHO I SELECTED NEC IN THE MENU TACHO AND NOTHING HAPPENING RIGHT "MOMENT" DISPLAYED ON THE SCREEN IT'S THE SAME WHEN I CHOOSE THE MENU NEC AU

nobody would have an idea of the problem I have with this dongle i tested resistor on pcb is good i don't see come a problem i'ts my dongle or my tacho
I take pictures
if you could help me please

I did step by step

1) i connect the dongle on tacho

2) power on tacho & select "NEC" in the menu

3)display "working" on the screen i waited 1 hours nothing happened

when i selected "NEC.AU" in the menu it's the same in menu pdf write the tacho must control dongle

when i selected "NEC.AU" in the menu it's the same in menu pdf write the tacho must control dongleI had the same problem with my tacho its the problem of your dongle its main mcu is corrupted,so u have to replace the dongle,Regards_huzefa.:wink:

Clean the processor after conecting the wires.Mine had same problem and it worked after cleaning the procesor.Don`t use too long cables

tacho universal is not good instrument for nec
my TU too not work whit nec

i have used my TU with nec for older citroen xsara picasso's
fair enough it dont show the correct miles when doing this but it does read and write perfectly to the chip
so i manually edit the dump
all good
takes a little while longer.

when i connect the dongle to the TU i goto NEC and connect thru that wthen it id's the chip on the dongle and goes to the mec main menu
then i connect my lead to the dongle
