hi all think the bolton area has been shafted by nagra 3, does any one know if keys can be updated daily and where i get them from cant remember from last time cheers

Oh dear !

N3 cannot be updated by keys, it's a whole new encryption system ... new unknown algo ... unknown keys ...

Nagra3 spell only one thing for your starview ... the local tip.

Have you done a rescan as I don't think Bolton has gone N3 that I have heard.

its only a transponder change the rest of the country has been through the last few weeks. do a factory reset and rescan you should get them back

most of greater manc was hit by transponder changes overnight, do a rescan and all will be fine... trust me....


sorry, folks, do factory reset first. then rescan, emu/keycode on, press default, exit ,exit... thanks cacti, was celebrating a 4-1 win!!

It seems I'm another one in the Bolton area, I have tried doing factory reset, installing, 1.12 and rescanning. Got ITV, BBC etc but not S*Y sports etc. Any sugestions will be greatfully received.

boomer edit your no.8 post, add to[ do a factory reset first ]then scan from direct feed and emu/key enable.
just rescanning by itself wont work on the great merry go round lol

To be brutally honest, dont expect a fix anytime soon or ever - Nagra 3 has been out in Europe/USA satellite scene for a few years and still no hack.. even if such a hack was done, it not public as yet - as I am sure Kudelski would be happy to give a large sum of money to the person not to release the hack.

Now lets assume a hack/fix was released to the public, dont think the Starview is capable of Nagra 3 stream due to it being engineered specially for Nagra 1 stream - and also it being a closed source box a firmware may take a while.

I know you were not expecting such bad news, but that is the truth
