Hello,
I have an old double board Chinese CDP+ interface that originally came with Autocom 2013.1 and that worked, and still works fine, with both Autocom and Delphi 2013.
However, over the period I have upgraded my cars and would like to update the Delphi software to the highest version of Delphi that can work with my hardware.
Instead of downloading big softwares and updating the hardware version (with a potential of bricking the interface), could someone with experience please help me with the best version that would work with my hardware?
The attached photos show the interface and the current firmware version.
I am not sure as to why my uploaded images are reduced in size and how to add larger readable images but to clarify, the current firmware version is 1310.
Thanks in advance.

Hi.
The pictures of your VCI you posted are blurry. What serial number does your VCI have?
Old Chinese VCI SN 30250, 30251 work with max AC/Del 2017.3 c4b. If you have a serial number other than 30250/51, you can easily change it via USB. Then it will work with 2017.3 c4b. Software 2020.23 and 2021.10/11 work with six-digit SN VCI (100251 and other).
Recently I changed the SN in two old VCIs and they work with SW AC/Del 2017.3 and older (2014.3) SN (30251)

Thanks for all the replies. As I wrote in my original message, the images I upload are somehow reduced in size and, therefore, are not very legible.
The VCI details are as under:
Hardware: DS100E (New VCI)
Serial Number: 100251
eOBD: 110
Firmware version: 1310
@ Mario6, having a VCI with serial number 100251, should I assume that it may work with software version as high as 2021.10/11? If yes, should I simply install the software and allow it to update the firmware of the VCI?
Thanks

It will work with 1622 or 1430 firmware but it will not work on everything. The one you have is junk unless you only diagnose 2017 or earlier. We have said for the last three years to get single pcb version for our 20,21 & 22 releases!
That c4b 2021 is free only because it is only our 2020.23 renamed :courage:

Thanks @crouchinggerbil . For the time being 2020.23 would work for me as my current cars are 2017 and older. I will try locating one.

With thanks to everyone who took time in reading my post and responding, I can confirm that fantomel's Autocom 2020.23 Virtual Machine English Clean is working fine with my hardware. Firmware version updated from 1310 to 1622 using update function within the software.

Funny story about that VM, fantomel stole it from the french guy who made it and put his name all over it :toss:
I dont know why you did not install 2020.23 direct as we made it free for all since january 22

If that French guy is a member of this forum then I am happy to leave thanks to him too!
In general, I find VM versions easier to install and run (due to pre-activation) without disturbing the main operating system. On my Windows 10 tablet, besides VM of autocom 2020.23, I am also using VM version of diagbox 9.91 and an XP installed on VM with an earlier version of diagbox.

No need, we cracked the software and the french guy found a way to bypass the vm protection. We fixed that and more so it will not happen again. All you can find now is the many fakes for free or pay the chinese for the same thing
The activator is also free for the 2020 so a vm of the same thing is just a waste of pc resources

Thanks, noted. Shall remember this for future. This is how we learn...
