Hey there,
Can anyone tell me where is the security code of the GID in this dump?
I believe I've read the correct chip (25080 from Atmel).

Wow that was quick!

The thing is I would like to know where is it located exactly, as I will get a new GID and I will need to change that code to the one I have in my car and CD30 MP3 so they can be married.

If you get the same GID then swap the dumps....
What is wrong with your current GID?

wbrThe situation is the following:

I have actually a CD30 MP3 with TID. I wanted to retrofit a GID, so I bought one used for 25€. (I don't have it yet)
I have access tho to another one that is damaged and doesn't work so, while I wait for my GID to arrive, I was trying to make a custom dump with my car Car Pass code.

If you guys can't tell me how to do it I guess I will have to post the dump from my new GID when I get it.

I just wanted to do it myself for extra satisfaction ;)

Btw, can you tell me if I will be able to enable the consumption and range features with a chinese OpCom or will I need Tech2 magic?

Ah ok, if you are changing to another type then you need to virgin your Display and Unregister (Keeps code) your Radio.
Then add display then pair Radio to Display using 2297 (All done via OBD2 tool)

wbrOk I have no clue on how to do any of that.
And 2297 is not the code of the new GID, it is the code of another GID that is broken, that's why I was asking how to reed the security code from the dump, so I can do it myself when I get the new one

Yes, these radio's don't have a code, it's a pairing PIN, you need to match it to your car, read my post again.

wbrI think I've understand it.

It is only divorce my current TID from the radio, plugin in the new GID and marry the radio with the GID code right?

Correct, so you need new Display and Radio dumps to be posted
What OBD2 tool do you have?

wbrHello there.
I've used the dumps, paired the radio and everything perfect. But when I put out the key, wait for a minute and then put the ignition on again, it shows up "Display Safe" again.
When looking in the measuring blocks option of the op-com, in theft protection it says "ID N.O.K yet".
Any clue what is happening?

You should have added Display first, this causes this.
Also check MID-CAN settings

What happens when you add display (DIS)

The only thing I can think of is that anything has changed in the eeproms during my testing... Can you please marry them again? I've just read this dumps....

As suspected you tried to pair before adding the Display.
Use both my dumps again from Post#13 then add display in "DIS" then activate security using 4844

wbrI've already done that... I will try again en a few hours tho, i have some work now

What do you exactly mean by "add display"? Just connecting it? No changing mid can settings to match the radio unit ones?

You have to add it in OPCOM in "DIS" section, then come out and go back in to "EHU" section

wbrI cannot make it happen. Opcom doesn't even comunicate with my ECU now... I'm getting a bit overwhelmed by all this...
Is there any way anyone can make a pair of dumps so it is just plug and play? If not I think I will go to Opel so they marry them

wbrIt's funny that you think I haven't already tried it like 5 times.
There is not such button as "add display", I have to restart the opcom every time I finish programming each module, and now, as I said, it doesn't even let me read anything because "no communication with ECU"...
I am asking for alternatives, and you just repeat the same thing, very helpful.

Your files say otherwise.
You have a separate section called "DIS" go there first then add display
