Hi All,
yes i know Ng3 is imminent but I am thinking of adding a hard drive to my nokia dbox, i found the kit to do this on IDE-SATA-Interface Nokia - Linux@dbox2.net - Shop (http://www.d-box2.co.uk/ide-interface/ide-sata-interface-nokia.html) My question is this do I need the extras HDD-Kit, RTC and Microsd that are listed. Has oneone installed one of these themselves or have any expeirence of them.
Any help greatfuly received.

I would not bother m8, I have got one of those kits here, from the same company & had nothing but trouble getting the D-Box to record onto it..
If you search & read through the D-Box section about adding a hard drive you will find loads of posts telling you this, quite a few of the posts are mine... lol

Yes m8, the dreams are great for recording.
I have a dream 600pvr & added a 160gig hard drive, works great.. lol
I am looking to get a network hard drive & have a play with that, so I can use it for both d-box & dream to share, so can use that to play back when I want on either or both like a network media player... lol
All the best with you dm 800 HD m8..
