HI
New to this

i am looking att different pd105 files and i see durations can be very different from 1 to another, like caddy to golf, golf to passat etc all with 77kw pd105.
durations can vary from max 31 @5000 to 46 @5000 in another map for same engine/injectors.

ALL of them have exactly the same SOI maps..

if i make an excel DUR - SOI = EOI

i get this (pictures)

if SOI maps are the same and the injectors are the same does that mean i can use/test these durations maps?

i have been trying 70mg of fuel at different afr's but i always get more power when i connect the diesel tuning box XD i cant seem to replicate it in a map.. have had 2 tuner from this forum done a tune for me but the dieselbox is very noticeable more powerfull and more efficient.. the box and remap is supose to do the same thing but the box manages to do something a remap cannot it seems but everyone says it can be replicated with a remap.
i think it might have to do with durations idk, no one seems to know why XD

Stock = 0.55-0.65 L/100KM
Tuner Stage 1 = 0.6-0.75 L/100KM more power but feels like it uses alot of fuel to do so
Tuner Stage 1 with diesel box = stage 1 up to 2000rpm to when the box takes over. the box is not activated before 2000rpm by default and cannot be changed so i only have that wonderfull power att over 2000rpm XD
Stock with Diesel tuning box stage 1 = 0.48-0.55L/100KM! (i drove 72.000KM on 0.32L/100km last summer, 0.36L on the way back) even more than power stage 1 tune and does not use a ton of fuel to achieve it

any ideas? could the durations be the thing here?

Maybe camshaft related?

Different engine and injectors or files are not stock.

31 @5000

BXE, BKC, BJB

46 @5000
BLS, BRM

Upload the files.

Thought i had finally found my solution, but maybe not XD

You are right the files where not stock, if ive read better after the . it says .stage1 and .stage3
and after looking there is some numbers that differs acouple upp or down in SOI maps but looks very similar still.
but now i find thoose that had 46@5000 is originally 44@5000 so probably like you say BLS or BRM.
if i take my bxe duration and add relative 25% over the whole table it matches upp quite nicely, with some minor tweaks, idk if that says anything XD

would it be dangerous to test the map with 44@5000 where EOI end at max 17 @5000 so 5 more than normal in some places
also is it DUR - SOI = EOI? or DUR+SOI = EOI Angle in degrees?

thx anyways though
