airbag module part number 13251084
iv got a 2007 vauxhall astra twin top in the workshop with a faulty airbag ecu, the fault code says replace ecu, fault code B1000-39 (not present)
new ecu from dealer was £700 and customer didnt want to pay.
sourced second hand with exact same numbers from germany.
plugged ecu in and i get fault, eeprom not programmed which was expected.
module is mcu 9s12dt128 unsecured 4L40K
opcom and svci wouldnt change vin, so i editted eeprom to correct vin.
plugged into the car and i now get, B1000-39 (not present).
so i then wrote original eeprom from original module to new module and i get same problem, b1000-39 (not present) these wont clear.
iv checked flash files and both modules have exact same flash.
what are my options with this? can anyone delete/permantely remove these codes? or is the best way to virginalise the module by eeprom then learn vin in with diag?
thanks in advance for all help
