Hi
I read that the ECU 77960-tza--j120-m2 has a locked rh850 MCU.

However when i opened mine i can't find it.
I found an st chip L9600. 9907C VA. MYS 99208

chip on the other side with number 1TC2205

An eight leg chip with inscription A1044V3

Anyone has any idea which MCU is in this board?

Crash are in mcu R7F70**** my friend.

I have xtool-says it can read these locked or unlocked processors
I have cg100 but never tested so new r7f
Orange and vvdi support it too
I believe Best option is obd but too expensive

Renasas RH850 / R7F7. It is possible with some programmer to read and write... CAN on bench or OBD in car is your best bet, otherwise you will have to probe board for pinout.

Hi
Thank you for your replies.

I have heard it's a locked r7 processor. However i have read the engraving on the MCU and can't relate it to any rh850.

P50 from the list says R7F7016863 but can't see it

Hi
Thanks qubiak i will try it though not much hope since they say it's locked. I'm wondering how vvdi and orange 5 read locked chips.
