i hope this is useful for somebody , yesterday (saturday) customer ask for a clio 4 2º key ,he told me is a 2013 car, i only pick my renault ecu tool and make the service ,but car is 2015+ and i try with risk , my shop 50 km way,when i try enable pin code read 2015+ dflash fail and hfm stay virgin the software tell for programimg hfm and pin or isk???? fu*****k , i look at the forum and maybe the only way is going to renault ofice or a oem tool level for online programing ,but i think lets try with zedfull i insert the original card and miracly zed make the job :ridinghorse:i not sure where zed read the pin or isk maybe for the original card ,congratulation for zed full team they make a big job chears people i have a hapy sunday now

What software version where you using and where you using a battery support unit yes or no before using renault ecu tool you have bern lucky Zedfull saved the day Next time use Zedfull Token but safer .

Thank you for feedback. Have no idea how Zed managed to revive this car after HFM got blank, if anyone knows please tell me :)

I dont think the procedure actually deletes the whole data flash i think it programs the P-flash so to prime the D-flash to accept new data, which will leave the data flash unprotected so it can be read and be rewritten with new data for different car. so as long as you dont rewrite it with new data like vin and ISK, another programmer should be able to still read the unprotected d-flash if its in virgin mode. just like when you delete data on you hard drive it isnt actually gone and can still be recovered only the reference table that reffers to the data and where it is located is gone.
but if anybody else has a better understanding of this please correct me if i'm wrong.

Well we have our selfs a test case.
Captur 2018 Car is AKL.
HFM seems virgin, customer says somebody has tried to program key before but failed.
so i have taken out HFM read D-flash and P-flash.
if anyone has R.E.T. to check if the flash file still has ISK/pin.
it looks like D-flash still has data in it, maybe its still stored.
and otherwise we will send customer to renault dealer for programming.

I heard we can buy tokens to use with Renault Can Clip but idk what conditions are for workshops to be able to retreive that tokens from dealership to be ready to use. But then, there is always a chance to find some garage/electrician who have online access to Clip. Then it's possible to quickly restore original HFM data and make new card.

No ISK inside D Flash

Alright good to know.
Maybe the previous guy tried to write something back to the hfm and coding got lost. Don't know. I referred the customer to the dealer to get a precoded key and hfm reprogrammed. I'll get my hands on a used hfm to experiment on. To see if any data actually holds on the dflash after verginizing with different tools. I have avdi, smok, obdstar and a Lonsdor and see which tool Does what. Might take a while to get it all set up. But will report back.

If you have card that ALLREADY BELONG to this car, Renault dealer could pair hfm back to car. If you order new card at renaul, you must wait whole month.
