Hi :cheerful:

I have a problem with immobilizer on a Lexus IS250 2008 2.5 4GRFSE (smart key system). Cranking, but not starting with DTC B2799 Engine Immobiliser System.

I read related posts on a forum and tried to fix it myself, but not having any experience in immo reprogramming I couldn't succeed.

Hope to get some help from you, guys.

At the moment I managed to read two EEPROMs from the engine ECU p/n 89661-53B50 (93C56 and 93C86, attached files). Is my assumption correct that 93C56 doesn't contain any immo data and does not need to be reprogrammed?

Also I got my hands on ID Box p/n 89784-53011, attached the file from 93C46.

But I won't be able to read 93C86 from a Smart key box p/n 89990-53015, since the chip cracked during dismantling. I can solder another one in, but I don't have any original data. Is it possible to gain this data somehow or the only option would be to use a completely new set of eeprom data from ecu, id box and smart box from another car?

And please explain to me what is the complete procedure to make it all work? Is the so called procedure G with shorting obd connector 4-13 pins sufficient to sync the modules or do I need to use a scan tool?

Hey, did you ever get this resolved or find anyone that can do a handshake between modules. IMMO-Code and Certification/Smart ECU Sync.?
