Zvasile , didnt work might be because i read the no with out my glasses , it is actually RN459FV8017931 its hard to read ,the 80 maybe BD not sure , anyway any help much appreciated , the buttons on my phillips radio only got up to 6 by the way, cheers Bill

Initially the display just showed 0000. Took me a while to figure out how to even change the numbers, however I think I entered the wrong code, and now the display just says CODE, and it seems like I can't do anything..
Whenever I press a button it just beeps.
I tried to disconnect the radio fully and plug it back in, but it still displays CODE. Maybe I'll try to keep it disconnected for a while?

Switch radio on with ignition on and wait on the counter counting down should only take a few min.

There are 2 ethods to enter the code.

METHOD 1.

1234 BUTTONS ARE USED TO INPUT CODE. I.E. IF THE CODE WAS 5678 YOU WOULD PRESS BUTTON 1 5 TIMES AND THEN BUTTON 2 WOULD BE 6 TIMES etc.
WHEN THE CODE IS ALL IN HOLD DOWN THE NUMBER 6 BUTTON FOR A FEW SECONDS.

METHOD 2.

Code entry is as follows :-

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE "
Press " ? " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ? " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ? " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
Press " ? " On The Stalk Control To Enter
Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press And Hold " ? " Until A Beep Is Heard
And the Radio will then Turn On
