Mini Cooper S - SATNAV/KOMBI mileage

Dear members,

I have in a Mini Cooper S R52 with SATNAV screen. According to repair shop the SATNAV/On board monitor was defective and they changed it for 2nd hand unit. Now mileage isn't correct. I wonder, if the mileage is stored in KOMBI or [SATNAV/On board monitor] -> seem 2 modules in one case?

I changed damaged one and 2nd hand one and the mileage does change.
Should I first mount 2nd hand unit turn ignition on and then change mileage in KOMBI?
I suspect mileage is send by K-BUS to KOMBI or something like this.


I opened SATNAV unit and the on board monitor electronics contain 5K91D uP. Maybe someone has the pinout for this? See attached picture.

mileage is stored in 5k91d.. you can read it post it here and some1 will adjust it for you then you write back .. all done
