MQB after 2018 waiting time

Today I had to add key on Tiguan 2019 with VDO dash and MQB key - not 5C

Autel showed message that must wait around 30 minutes to have access to the immo system and I left for other day

Someone with success after waiting or its waste of time

I had Golf Sportsvan 2019 last week and failed to do but I tried Lonsdor and Smart Pro. Lonsdor failed to read and prompt some clusters need to wait 10 minutes. I didn't wait at first and plug Smart Pro it said the same but started the process actually but after 99% it failed. Then I reconnect Lonsdor and waited 10 minutes with ignition ON and try to read nut failed immediately with same prompt some dashed need wait 10 mins. I don't know, maybe vvdi2 could do it...

I don't think that Autel and VVDI2 will do it

Most VAG from 2019 are RH850 therefore nothing OBD can do it. 10 minutes waiting means "not supported"

Odis would add only a dealer key though? The keys made by im608 would be recognised as a real dealer key by odis?

VAG from 2019 model year (after 06/2018 which indicate tenth letter of VIN(K,L,M,N,P,R,S)) is very unlikely that is supported by any tool via diagnostic. 10 min delay means only, that tool tried to log in but in wrong way and you need wait to release next access try.

Not so my friend. Mostly with late polo(but occasionally Golf) I've had security access wait for 10 min and successful read and key programming. I usually say after 10/18 myself from local experience but the 2018 model year can be a complete roulette for OBD spare key learning.

That said I've seen as early as 15 with a wait for read and key learn with both VVDI and Smart Pro on Golf and Polo so this is most likely a security patch applied at dealers to these V850 based dashboards.

10/18 manufacture date or registration date? There is no any known security patch for any clusters which have influence on extra delay, its just wrong way how some tools try to log to clusters.

If you can do dealer key by Autel you don't need odis to program it

Im not sure that odis will recognise that this is not original dealer key

Today Tiguan late 2018 same issue, not possible to read.

But recently I had 2017 Audi Q2 and after 10 minutes ignition ON I was able to read.
