I am having exactly the same issue on the same radio.
Did you succeed in finding a solution? Or at least the reason for this malfunctioning?

The radio seems to be perfectly working apart from the speaker output, which is completely silent when trying to listen to a radio station (CD playing, on the other hand, is fine).
On the display, when tuning a radio station, after a while, it is also showing the "stereo icon", so I guess it is not a tuning problem.
I tried to reset it to factory defaults, but nothing changed.
