Bmw E serie dash programming mode

Hello guys,

I tried this programming option, and dash turn off. Avdi bmw v10.4 (svdi 2019)
It should be in 81 standard mode.
85 programming is the current state.
Switching back, to 81 (1012) negative response.

I disconnected power, this does nothing.
There is still communication, but it is clearly not normal. no display, not even when i press daytrip button.

Is there a way, to get it back to standard?

If you have Launch, xdiag, DZ...
Try to Programm it...
Should work...
I have done similar like you, to a F10...
Worked by launch...

I can not connect to the dash anymore, i tried this with Launch. No communications.
Only Avdi seems to connect, with very limited response.

Inside, there is a 35080. Will this programming mode setting be in there?

Now this is up in boot mode .

Only reflash away out from boot .

WinKfp, ista-d or other similar tool which can do reflash .


Next time dont put this in progrmm.
For coding no need to do samething this , just go read coding , if need change samething and coding , that's it ! .......no more .

Programming work only if this cloony have flash database for this , so...........today still nothing in here !

Coding, i did before,
Never had to flash Bmw cluster.

I was attempting to write a vin, to a cluster.
So i will leave this cluster, and buy another.

About rewriting vin,

They say, make FF in place of the old vin.
Often, there is 1 more Symbol or letter behind the vin.
That need to go also?


Then use Winkfp, to rewrite vin.
In my case, i tried the Avdi function.
Just to see, what happens.
It stated, write vin succesful, but old remained. (due to,,, (i did not make ff to vin eeprom)

Then i ended up, trying some things, that let to the death cluster.

I will get another dash, and be less adventures
