Can anyone tell me if when relearning keys on a Peugeot Boxer 3 2021 , customer has two keys, one is a clone of the other, have a new dealer key, during the key learning (re-learn) does the password and secret key get over written in the keys, ie. if i learn the original and the new dealer key, will the clone key (copy of the original) still work. Customer needs 3 keys, but I can not remove the BSI, so wondering if we should have ordered 2 dealer keys.
If password is changed, suspect new dealer keys in future will not work so suspect the password stays the same. If password not changed I don't see why a key for the same vehicle can't be re-learned at a later date if it is found.
I would really appreciate any insight here.

After reprogramming the ori key, the clone will also work.
So re program the ori, and then the new dealer key.
Make sure, both work, and remotes work.
After, try to start with the clone , it should work just fine.
This is a Fiat system.
Many tools can clone these keys, and even clone remote.
If you clone key, is with cloned remote data, it will be out off synch. after you programmed the ori.
So it will start, but no rf.
All old keys, must be programmed first. then the new.
Keys left out, will not be accepted in future reprogramming.
Some tools can unlock these , they need the immodata, to decypt.
To be sure, some tools have poor commands.
and it might skip your first old key.
So when you tools says, you want to program more keys, press yes.
Then you dont take a second key, but program first key again. if it programs it, its ok, if it states, allready programmed, that is also ok.
then you proceed with the rest of the keys.
Or you wait, with storing, until you are sure, the ammount given does match, and it may store these.
Some tool will skip this last question, and you might and up, a old key short.

Thanks for the reply. Tried Autel and VVDi to clone these ID46 keys and failed, Silca Smart aerial+ cloned ok.
Also found in a test BCM the Lock out key table at the end of the working key table. Any idea what happens after 8 keys are locked out, does the lockout list loop back to the begining or does the whole system crash ?????
From about 2017 you can't read the EEPROM via the OBD2 port, need to remove BCM to read out, good for security I guess.

Clone this chip no matter what tool, I don't know what you doing wrong...
And no, it's not locked from reading from 2017. I believe 2020+

2022 Boxer keys will not clone using VVDI or Autel tools, I have tried and 3 other locksmiths have also tried.
As said Silca worked. Thanks for the data info re EEPROM readout via OBD.
