Hello, I would ask if any of you know, whether to lift the legs of the micro Motorala to read usb or xprog upa-m?
The scheme marks a broken line in 2 feet of micro!
To read this micro motorola is that lifting these two legs? or read without lifting them?

Thanks and regards.

If its broken lines then it means you have to lift the pins but you might wanna take a look at this thread. A couple of guys say you can read it without lifting the pins http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f114/reading-secured-mcu-0d66j-upa-programmer-solution-72080/index3.html (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f114/reading-secured-mcu-0d66j-upa-programmer-solution-72080/index3.html)

Try without lifting any legs first, you need a security code, which is BE 07 BD 57 BD 57 BD 54, when connected press the auto baud rate and wait for it to stop (somewhere just above 14000).
then if it doesn't read lift the pin IRQ1 (wire 1) and follow the same steps and you will be able to post the crash file here for someone to help clear for you..

you will only need to lift 1 pin, the one that is marked IRQ1 (wire 1), connect your wires, put in your security code, auto baud rate, press read.....
if this isn't working for you, check basics, like wires to correct pin, correct order of wires to pins,
I have reset 3 of these today so trust me, its the correct way to go...

Thanks mates for this post, especially Melmar, I follow your advices vause I have same crash here on ECU GOLF 4 VW5 siemens ECU, I read the file, lifting only IRQ1 pin, and using baud rates, and same security Bytes, special thanks to Lupu as well..
Here is the read file, I cleared it using two softwares, airbag resetter 6.4 and airbag 1.0, the cleared files were same. But I want to check it via your kind help.
