Hello mates.
Is there any one here from China ?
Some one who experienced Chinese cars ?
There are so many Chinese manufacturers with different methods to store the km...
Now i have a car name Aiways U5 2021.
The cluster is very easy to be done (24C04), but when i install it back to the car the km jumps up back to the original km.
Actually, the km jumps to the nearest round 100 km. This method reminds me some older VW...
Actually, the cluster part number is very much like VW parts number, and the blue connector is the same from old VW (like many other Chinese clusters i saw till now).
But it is not a VW, because there is a backup somewhere in the car and VW never uses backup in the car (the km does not jumps up on table, only in the car).
I also tried to cut the sync by changing the VIN number but no joy.
Does any one know where i should look for the backup that gives me a hard time ?
Is there a CAN blocker for Chinese cars ?
Please help, as Chinese cars are going to coquest the market in the soon coming years.
