hi guys hopefully i should be gettin a new car (not brand new but new to me) on saturday,and the road tax runs out in the middle of next week,how will i go about taxing it,cos it takes about two weeks for the log book to come back

you will be handed a green slip from the log bok and you can tax it with this.it is torn off the log book before sending to dvla

Take it to your local dvla office as you can't do this at the post office any more. They will submit it for the new log book as well as tax it for you. Don't forget the insurance & mot!
