2013 Renault traffic 93c76 mileage change please

Hi i have bought a second hand pair of clocks i have plugged them into my van and the mileage is 426,474 miles i Have tried to change the miles with digiprog to 97,200 miles it says that the mileage has changed correctly but when i power the clocks up on the bench the mileage has not changed ? could someone help me change this please ?
