Hello, i have a question for a4 bosch rb4 crypto. I need to change mileage, i have licznik, an eeprom programmer...
Is it necessary to dessolder the chip ? I'm going to save the dump, modify mileage and write to the chip. Is it good for rb4 crypto, if the dump is good, it's possible to read and write chip without happened "error" ? Thanks

Easier and better is to read/save full dump by OBD2 (vag+k commander) and adjust mileage with licznik (+/-1500km), you can also read eprom on back of board and adjust with licznik, better is to remove needles and remove eprom.

I use vag dash prog for this, by OBD2 +/- 14 km.
