Hi all sorry if i've missed a sticky, but can anybody please help me out with what to search for? im in need of a VW radio code, pretty sure it is just a calculation of the serial number but i dont know for sure.

i'l be lazy and post the serial number here VWZ1Z2L3089885 but i would like to know what the calculation / encryption method is.

Is that at all possible via the obd port, im guessing its stereo apart and connect a chip to pc somehow?
