Is it possible to use an Eeprom clip to flash in situ or does the chip need to be removed from the PCB?
Car in question (2009 Civic FN2) has been in storage for a number of years and the mileage/eeprom data has somehow got corrupt as the mileage is substantially lower than it should be. Need to INCREASE the mileage rather than decrease.
Anybody came across this before?
Would any Eeprom (eg willem programmer) do or does it need to be Digiprog or similar?
