Hi Guys,

I got this Golf MK5 GT TDI 170 Siemens Simos PPD1.2 03G906018DF ECU read.

This car is struggling to go past 70-80mph, I can see fans running even before the car is up to temperature.

When checking DTC there is no faults. Apparently it has been remapped. Could someone see what has been messed up or broken please or if this is a good tune.

Could you see if any DTC's are removed? Egr status on or off? DPF enabled or disabled?

EGR and DPF off in your file. Unfortunately, this unit is unfriendly when the DPF is turned off. For DPF off to work, all sensors must work. Write a clean original file, do a test drive and then read the DTC.

Thank you for your help do you know if any DTC errors have been removed too? Just trying to get original file.

I have original now, i used fgtech galleto v54 to read. Will checksum need doing before writing file?

Galletto should calculate the checksum itself.
