Hello guys,

MSV80 Siemens 2009 ecu clone full.

I failed to read it in boot.
( i have contacted support, about this last year. No solution came from this )

I moved the choke coil, 1 place over.
Also the 222 resistor and tja1050
Boot wire, i soldered, also the 2 resistor wires.

Mms will not connect.
I can borrow KT200.
I read the dfox instructions, and compare to mms not so different.
In the upcoming days, i will try it.

Obd, i can connect, before, and after restoring the pcb elements.
So the ecus, are still alive.

Anyone succeded? Using Mms.

Greetings Rob

I managed to connect, using mms.

Sadly this message come forward:

ECU already modified
Reading password...
Password reading failed.
Password reading failed.

I managed to connect, with the ecu i need to clone.

Someone made a stage 1. By obd before i have been given this ecu.
So is that all it takes for a MSV80 to be called modified?

Is there a solution, like reflashing to a ori stated. We dont care about loosing the stage1.
Online Bmw only, or other tools?

Hi.
Do you still have communication with ECU via OBD?

If yes, you have that kind of options:

- Reflash to factory using icom/kdcan with WinKfp
- Reflash to factory using Autel/Launch (with programming options)
- Reflash to factory using icom and IstaP

Obd connect is fine, diag and reading maps are both possible.

Crankshaft sensor no signal.
But the car still runs,
We tested a cas and ecu swapp.

Launch, elite, i can borrow that.

Will it let me reflash current sw version?
One higher, or only latest?

Thank you

Launch will calculate measurement plan and use latest software which have on servers

So you got OBD connection? Why not use ISTA P etc. pp. and update ecu? or call the guy which does the software (If you know)... if he got the original file PW can be substracted and loaded to the server (or you can use the ori to bring it back).
Other option... read ISN from "new" MSV80 and change in CAS... then do the coding of the new ecu in car. Done.
