I replaced my ecu with one with a a working mafs. I also put new glass resistors on the mafs. The car runs fine but eventually it fires a p0170-4 error , running lean at idle I think.
I know the value should be calibrated with the 25 rounds variable 10k ohm trimpot and that it is to be connected on pins 2 and 3. What should be the correct resistance value to be set with that pot there ? In the old ecu where the mafs was dead I had the trimpot set to 237 resistance (measuring on continuity) and the temperature was being reported correctly with no p0170 error but had a p0100 error because that mafs was dead basically. Can anyone help ? How do I calibrate this ? I am waiting 2 3296 bourns trimpot in the mail.
