Hello,
I am looking for solution how to solve this situation.
The car: VW Routan (USA market)
Year: 2010

Client had broken WIN module ( Wireless Ignition module ). He could not find used module with the same part number so bought who looks the same but from Europe car. I did not know that and did not look at the part number so just came and tried to program (with AUTEL 608 ) but no success. After programming i am getting trouble code: B2254 Column lock module internal. He bought another WIN module which is identical only one part number is different (from USA market) all programmed ok, there is no trouble codes except one which i mentioned before and the car doesn`t start.
So strange situation why i am getting this code if USA market cars (this model) doesn`t have at all Column lock module?
Maybe somebody can give some advices

partnumber?

Wirelles ign node.
if it is still allive, it reacts to the remote, and you can connect with diag.
Then you could clone the data, with a programmer.
A programmer will cost you about 90-120 dollar. (orange5)
If the partnumber is not thesame, but the processor is.

, you find something like a uPD70F3373 , when you open the back of the win unit.

Or maybe someone did cloning for similar WIN module and have files in the computer?

It could be hardware related error.
The memory might be ok.

You could make a backup, of your win, and test it in any other similar lock , with same processor.
It might not function fully,
Atleast, you will know, if your data is ok.

The replacement lock, he bought, does the processor match?

But you error code refers to your steering lock.
Just plug in a steering lock emulator, that might solve your problem.
This elv, esl , whatever it is called, they do fail often

It could have a partnumber, something like this: 5026132AC

Did you write car VIN to new programmed module? Immo in this generation is based on matching VIN number.
