PATS ids terminated after a few seconds
Shelby GT500 2010 5.4 V8 supercharged 6 speed manual
2009 build.
2 keys (with seperate ids), i have managed to program in to dash.
ign off, Immolight blinks normal
ign on, it becomes solid.
P1260-FF
The Engine Control Module (ECM) has received a signal from the Anti-Theft system that a violation has occurred
Oem ids connect FMP, wont lett us program keys, to rematch pcm.
Keys are stored in the dash (ipc).
Dash, has been replaced, before we recieved the car.
If they cloned it, we dont know. There is no vin storedin these, only vin in pcm.
Soon as we enter pats, 10 min timer starts.
Displays then shows diag state, and after a few seconds, this diag mode stops.
And pats function error message.
We suspect the dash, not to connect correctly with the ecu.
A full scan does show us all modules.
Can highspeed runs from dash to ecu? and transferes immo data?

Not many off these, so the question about the pats function termination, we like answered.
Either experienced by anyone, any Ford, with 4D63 transponders, stored in dash. Non keyless.

Need to check asbuilt data on ipc, then module initalization in pats..

Asbuilt, is only config. Or am i wrong.
I went straight to pats,
I can try this,

as-built is not central config, you can just go to module initialisation and give it a go

Module update is not possible, latest versions sw message, no sw rewrite possible.

Try module instalation on ipc and then module initialisation

These function, i tried both.
It wil tell me, the latest version is already on these.
Both function, can not be performed

Can you read the asbuilt data from ipc?

Use forscan on this might save the day also do a batt.ery Reset

Yes, we can read, and rewrite asbuild from ipc.
No changes made, asbuild was ok.
Forscan will download a flashfile suited to flash pcm. But does stop after 20 seconds. Not able to flash with ids.
I will look for a same generation, and remove ecu. To check if pats functions on ipc behave the same way.

Have you got the right 80 bit transponder not the 40 bit as some ford will not program with the wrong transponder

Check all fuses because maybe backup memory is faulty...

The care came with 2 keys. Non oem.
4D63 (if a recall correct) and 3 were programmed in ipc.
I checked the key ids, if the were identical.
And they all had a different id.
Only Obdstar kept the ipc in diagenose key leaning mode, for the hole 10min.
And let me erase all 3 keys in memomry and let me reprogram the 2 present keys.
I will check, if these transponder are the correct ones. ( even do they were accepted in the dash )

Hard reset, using Forscan and battery removal overnight did not help.
Could there be a theft event stored in the memory. Either ipc, gem, bcm, pcm?
Fuses they checked, atleast pulled them one by one. I hate it when they just measure them.
no oxidized legs, colorations.
How can i get a wiring diagram? That matches with this car 100%.

Hi just read your first post again, regarding immo light function and keys.
I have had problems with clone transponders such as tpx ect. They will program with ids and forscan, key count will be correct vut solid immo light, use genuine id-63 transponders and all has been good.
Worth a try in this situation..

I do have some tpx big glass transponders.
I will try this.
But the main thing wrong here, is the pats session waiting timer starts, and finished.
After 2 procent, a few seconds in.
The dash jumps out off the diag session.
At this time, there doe not need to be a transponder in site.
Only obdstar does appear to have a more direct keyprogramming function.
I will add 2 tpx with obdstar.

No I meant if the transponders were tpx or cn chips do not always work.
Get good genuine Id63 transponders.
The problem I have found in past... if using tpx or cn transpo der, IDS or forscan does not program them correctly and you get solid immo light.
Use genuine transponders and program with IDS or forscan and immo light goes off and car starts..
