[Solved]

Hello,

Wife's Renault Clio Mk3 only has 1 key, so I figured I would attempt to create an extra for safe keeping.
The cars is pos, so trying not to spend much money on it.

The is bladed style key, I have had a key cut, and also have a blank transponder chip fob for it. - The key itself works fine (for switching on etc) but obvs needs to be paired to the car in order to start it.

I have downloaded and used Renault Can Clip, and have been able to extract the ISK using a tactrix openport 2.0.
32 9E CF 61 A6 84 - The byte of 24 s CA (apparently this might be needed on some cars?)

The VIN is VF1BR2H0H44746394

I have 2 tools for making the new key, Renault Can Clip, and also have autel MK808, however both need an incode to be calculated.

I have attempted to calculate it from the above details using the various calculators, but I assume the PIN its generating is somehow incorrect, as it always creates an error when trying to generate the incode.

I feel like for a complete armature, ive done pretty well so far.
Ay guidance on what I am doing wrong would be really appreciated :-)

Making a reply for anyone in future that faces the same problem as me.

I have solved it by using software named Renolink - appears to be french originated software, also runs of a few other cars.
The software licensing appears to link the software to the device ID of the OBD2 connector, - although I have not tested this much, but I bought an OBD2 cable + software from Aliexpres for £10 delivered. - The software came with crack etc, and says it will only work on this hardware device they supplied, which appears to be a SX clone.
The software was quite janky, and I ran it in a VM with no networking, windows was adamant that it was a virus.

Anyway, in order to make new keys:

Have zero key in ignition.

Menu-> Extras, Keys

Click Read

Then click learn keys

Then put in each key intended to use, (will need all keys).
Put in blank key.

each key needs to be switched to ignition, left for 5 secs and then switched off.

Once you have all keys read,

click validate.

Done.

All keys will now work, and if youre like me you get wife points for not having to grab her key each time you need to use the car.

Oh, and on a side note, I read both my ISK key and calculated the PIN, it was identical to the keys read by CanClip, - so something else weird is going on with the outcode calc.
