1.6 16V pops & bangs

Hi, the car in cause is a golf mk4 1.6 16v (BCB)

I just got empty stainless steel pipe, is it possible getting some pops and bangs with some flames?
The car had some pops and bangs, she was giving some small flames but when was extremely heated, but I lost the tuning file.

I can give u one secret answer - buy car with big engine, 1.6 was my moteur for washscreen :)
