If I program my NEC BSI with one of the virgin dumps on this thread, will I need to use Lexia to make it all work?

This 2001 Picasso 1.6i does start and everything works except the mileage shows 600000 miles and does not move with distance. Programming the BSI with 00's using the ETL programmer as per Tacho using both methods makes no difference.

I have 3 clusters that all behave the same when I program the 93c66 give the same result so I am blaming the BSI. I have carefully checked the soldering around the NEC uP so I am thinking if I have have somehow messed up the EEPROM contents.

I am trying to get the car to read 70,000 miles (112,000 Kms) which is the true mileage.

Can anybody help??
