volvo v50 remote function not working

Hello
I have a 2009 volvo v50 with locking not working .I have tested both keys
and they are transmitting ok Can someone advise me where the receiver is located
on this car and also is it possible to synchronise the keys.

In the headliner next to the front ceiling light. You need to take out the lamp and look for it. It is attached with Velcro. It's the same system as in Ford. You must have VCC GND and LIN.
Often the problem is a blown fuse. It happens that the GEM module is damaged. I then cut the power cable from the GEM side and connect it to the positive from another fuse.
