Reading of H8sx with renelight

Hi

It's been a while since i have used Renelight. Was wondering if the ground from the renelight must be soldered to the board too when writing uart for H8SX. (using 12 volt external supply to power the ecu).

Or what is the voltage to be used to power the ecu 89170-52M40

Hello to all.
Yes ground need to be connected, and 12v to PIN CONNECTOR ONLY.

I messed up just forgot that it should be 12 V on airbag ECU not on Vcc. I'll desolder the MCU to see if the short goes away. Pin lifting is kind of more risky
