I have a ecu from a customer who wants t change the vin number to whats on the car, i think he has a had a replacement ecu and they hadn't change the vin from the old one , does anyone know where it is stored via hex , as i need to change to original chassis to the customers car. the one in there now (WBAFF02060L293985 )needs changing to (WBAFF42090LZ17074 ) "PLEASE HELP''

are you sure you read the flash
eeprom also needs to be read

use tool32 to change the VIN. this is the easiest way for you if you haven`t got experience to do it through the dump
