New to tuning. HELP!

I have recently picked up tuning and i can't really seem to find a lot of info about stage1/performance tuning. Can someone link me a thread or website where it explains the process in detail?(preferably ECM titanium). Thanks!

Such a guide doesn't really exist.

There's a good reason for that, and that is that whilst there are a few fundamental similarities between management types (i.e general theory of fuel control, torque limits and so forth) there's not actually much of an overlap in HOW that is applied to an ecu.

There are hundreds of types of ecu's and whilst the overall goal will be the same, the actual implementation, how to find maps, how much to change them etc will vary obscenely.

Which is why most tuners have a specialisation, or operate on the basis of experience and knowledge gained from testing, logging of various ecu types.

There are those that jus tthrow percentages on obvious maps and hope for the best, but otherwise it's a very hard game and a slow learning curve.
