Hello, im new in this. I have an PCMTuner and a china KessV2.
I tryed to read/write a 2014 Ford Fiesta ST 180hp. PCM cant read or write. Not on Bench (Module71) and not on OBD (Module 5+6+7).

KessV2 readed, but gave an "Cheksum Error" at end from Reading. And when i wanted to write, it gave the same Error and did nothing ...

Do you have a Solution for me?

Thanks to all

i am pretty sure you use wrong pinout for 71 module in pcm flash clone.
try this one:

https://ecu.design/ecu-pinout/pinout-bosch-med17-0-1-irom-tc1767-egpt-ford/

how you can connect wrong pinout if med17.0.1,17.0.7 and m17.2 have same connection for bench mode?

I think, rather, that there is problem with cable or some problem with hardware of the tool.

checksum problem on kess is almost always software problem

I Checked the wireng 3-4 Times, It was like in PCMTuner Software showen.

@carmageddon: Do you mean the Kess Software? I have 2.8. But on other Cars it worked nice ...

Could be kess issue or "corrupted" flash by a previewous tuning made by obd. I did the same ecu with ktag and all went good.
Pcm sm2 pro did not read eeprom(read blank eeprom) so i have used ktag and did it ok.
