Tcu tune question

Hallo, when i make a Stage 1 ECU Tuning for a car ( example a6 c7 3.0 tdi 326 hp)
Do i Need to tune the tcu also? Or is it enough to just tune the ecu for Stage 1 ?

depents on how far you want to go, the gearbox has a Max torque limiter programmed in TCU. lets say you tuned the engine to 450Nm and gearbox settings just 380Nm then you need to modify TCU
because all tunes you will make it stays max 380Nm and it can also be slipping
