Delphi bsi 2019 change flash

Hello guys,

A grandland X 2019. The bsi needs to be replaced.
9695001380 SW
9830813080 HW


The donor bsi, belongs to a Citroen DS7. Same HW, but not the same SW version.

I can make it virgin, change vin, pin and config.etc.


I never had to change a completely different flash version.
Only upgrading the sw online.

I do have the correct flash file,,,but i dont know if any tool wants to write a flash not matching the old flash.

Someone can share, if this is possible. Without bricking it.
I could buy a Grandland bsi if needed.

BSI this year should be Delphi with BGA inside. I've got one sometime ago with water dammaged.

Only way i've did is swap BGA MCU.

If you can code, swap eeprom then BSI become virgin.

If i make a delphi bsi virgin,
I can write any flash i choose?

Bga, is for experts in bga. I have never done bga jobs.
But good to know.
So your are telling me, flash swapp, chance is not possible.

If BSI is Virgin, just coding with car, so i think that flash with change with car option.

I never try writing flash because for me, it's more safety Swap MCU than writing.
