Failure to replace BSI and ECU Citroen xsara Picasso 2004

Hello partners:


I need guidance because I am lost. I have a 2004 Xsara Picasso with Ecu and Bsi burn due to a short circuit. I have bought second-hand ECU EDC16c3, BSI Siemens and transponder key with the same references as the originals.


With the second-hand ECU and BSI, the car starts and runs well but the automatic lights, remote control do not work and car radio do beep.


I have cloned the original second-hand engine ECU data and copied the Epromm ST95160 data from original BSI, but the car does not start and the engine ECU is blocked.


I don't know what to do, I'm lost. Do I need to virginize second-hand BSI and telecode with Lexia?

Just do it immo off ECU EDC16c3 and then you'll have peace and quiet

Upload the charger file from the engine control unit and we will do the immo off for you

I have tried to link the Original remote control to the second-hand BSI but I can't. Can someone help me with the procedure?

you need to change the vin in bsi to the original one, then the radio will stop beeping, you need to check the lexia configuration, the remote control is stored in the nec processor, a new key will do the trick, good luck.

I think the vehicle's original remote control cannot be used because it was already coded for the original BSI, does anyone know if this is true? I think I have to buy a virgin remote control.

yes, is true, remote control only work with original bsi data. you need a new key or original bin to bsi, virgin ecu and re code. the problem in the radio as pawl says, vin in bsi and vin stored in radio are not the same
