I have Upa usb, Xprog-m can I at this moment read and programm 29f400 ??

You need BDM100 if you after a cheap tool..

What do you mean?? BDM100 is a programmer?
Has not bdm adaptor in x-Prog-M??

florinyes is saying that you cant use the tools you have to program 29f400/200, other cheep tool is willem with psop44 adapter

for all chips eprom 28f512 29f200 -400-800 e.t.c e.t.c
you need desk programer.
I use LAB-TOOL 48 is very good and now support and usb

for a 29f400/200 you will need indeed a progammer that can do flashes (labtool, willem, wellon etc)
bdm is just for ecu with mpc 555/6,(ex edc16), no good for you...
