Read eeprom data from radio memory and post here. Also required is your vehicle VIN.

If you don't know this basic information then best take it to your local decoder to decode.

must be great to know it all and not need to ask for help.
nobody locally can help me with it hence trying to do it myself, i cant find any info online about going about it other than the odd comment on forums where ppl say it needs done via obd, so im asking what tool/software is required. forums are meant to be here to help people instead of making a sarky comment like you did

Ok, first you need to know what memory device you are trying to read,
example: flash module.
You need a Hot air station, approx 200~300 euros for a cheap one.
You need a flash compatible adapter for your programmer, 50~80 euros for an average one.
You need a programmer capable of reading the flash, normally 500 euros.
and flux, all the software etc etc etc.....
Like I said, if you don't have the skills then best take it to your local decoder, there are 100's, and it wasn't "sarky"
Most of us here have invested 1000's of euro's, so don't be so aggressive demanding things!
