Peugeot 308 BSI & Dash correction

Hi, although I've had success reprogramming eeproms in the past (desolder,read,prog,resolder); but I have a problem case: Valeo '2004 P02' BSI, the eeprom was sandwiched between two PCBs. I tried to read in circuit, failed, so took apart and desoldered. Not sure if it's corrupt now. BSI eeprom is 25128; dash is 95040.
Current km is 274604, desired is 256000. Can anyone help? What free/cracked software is best for this? Thanks :)
