Hi to all,
i have this problem with (Toyota C-HR HV
MODEL MAXH10
ENGINE TYPE M20A-FXS)
DTC U029A lost Communication With hybrid/EV battery pack
sensor module.
The car No Crank No Start at all.
Any help?

hello, I don't know much about the subject, but I heard that there were cases where if the battery is empty, the car won't start until you change it.

You must replace unit battrey control that installed on hybrid battrey pack.
this unit sense voltage battrey cells of battrey pack(28 cell) and send it to hybrid ecu

Hi, as others have stated, the battery "smart" ecu suffers from corrosion buildup on the ECU connector pins on Toyota/Lexus NiMh battery packs, which leads to shorting on the negative voltage sensor harness pin against one of the other module blocks and blows out the PCB. If the short is severe enough, you'll need to replace the voltage sensor harness as well.
