52 plate 1.4 mpi. oil light on instrument panel keeps flashing, i have replaced oil pressure switch with genuine new 1, but still same fault. have checked all wiring all this is fine. anyone now how to fix. thanks

VW Oil Light they do warn two things one is Low Oil Level warning which is Yellow light.......... and the other is Red light for Engine Oil Pressure Low.

Now Which is yours Red Light or Yellow Light ?

its red mate, but engine runs fine with no noises, oil been changed and engine been flushed m8.

Hi

Remove the Sump and check the pick-up pipe from the oil pump it will be partly blocked (Dirty). that's a common fault on VW.

Get it done as soon as possible before it Fa*k's the Engine.
