Hi,
i have a scooby which will not start it has no live feed to the fuel pump or injecters, but if i turn the ignition on and then touch and remove a 12v direct feed to one of the injecter plugs it clicks and turns pump and everything on the car will then start, and when you turn the engine off as soon as you try again it will not start until u activate the feed again???checked the relays underneath the steering colum they seem fine is there something else to do with the engine management that triggers this live??? please help its gettin on my nerves is there a common thing that goes on these scoobys that causes this its a 1998 s reg non import i thought it could be the imoboliser but checked it seems fine:afraid:

the efi relay is behind the drivers side dash, 'behind your rh knee'

if you remove lower dash panel 2 mins, and stuff your head in you will see a long fuse box, going to have to be slightly vauge, but 'top right ish' is something to do with it.

if your vechile has the cobera 802t, in the same area you will see in the 'top' of fusebox a multiplug where the yellow ignition feed has been cut, check with testprobe power bothsides of cut.

if not upload some GOOD photos of fuse box.

Oh had one in once that seemed to have a 'safety cut out' it seamt to be the ignition feed to under the hood electronics was stopped by the 'ignition module' passenger foot well,

we just ~~~~ed it off to the stealer, never to be seen again.

oh whilst in passenger footwell, just (think) see if the funky steel plate has chopped the wiring harness, dude.

will have a look 2moz mate but probed the wires with imob on and off on the loom coming from back of ignition switch and it seems to work correct so do they cut into a live feed to the pump and injecters on the back of the fuse box aswell is that what u are sayin????

possable cant be 100% sure.

if you feed the errectors with a pos to 'activate' it, and removng the jump lead lets it's carry on, this would suggest the relay contacts have gone righ reistance, or the fusebox is ~~~~ed and you need a new one.

press the 'reputaion' button if you want to lol.
