not sure which Shaguar it is, but one of them has the gearbox ecu in the trunk.
Hopefully the battery has expelled enough acid to make to car beyond ANY repair.
As it's an auto, you won't be able to notice the shape of the gear knob, looks like 'ET's head.

Hello
I see that you are using bosch kts.I have the same and it is utterly useless on Jaguar.I had a s-type in the shop a few months back also with gearbox fault errors and misfire but the engine did crank and start. To cut a long story short we found faults with the ECU.Got a second hand unit, fitted it in and had to send it to agents for transponder coding, perfect after that.

You can ignore P1000. That's not an error. It's information only that not all of the EOBD monitors have completed their test. It is always set when you clear the codes.

Could be wiring or connectors or an internal fault in the engine or transmission ecu.

I have found crank relay then open it and join contacts.
Engine started immediately, gearbox works fine (tested in parking area)
There is message on dashboard : gearbox fault
I think I have a problem with gearbox TCU?! But TCU is inside gearbox?!
Any idea what to do next? Anyone?
This is my first time work with Jaguar
