MB w211 parktronic too slow

I wonder if this is normal or not...

I drive a w211 and the response of the parktronic is so slow making it annoying and dangerous to use. Even if i move the car dead slow it seems impossible to use the parktronic to get useful results.

If there is a moving object e.g. a child or a motorbike the response is so slow the object is moved far away and then i hear the beeps.

I happened to drive an opel with park-pilot, as they call it, and is instant making it a great parking help.

I wonder if the behavior of the w211 is correct.
Diagnostics do not find anything wrong with it.

Any DAS expert knows if the response time can be altered?

I wonder if there are some DAS developer mode tweaks for it ...

We have W203 and I had been driving W202, W210, W211, W204 & W212 with parktronic systems and never noticed any significant lag in that systems.
